Sales & Business Development Manager


We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to head up the English speaking sales and business development division of Tamago-DB.

Must have experience in Recruitment or Recruitment Sales.

We are looking for a very special individual to join our small team as Sales and Business Development manager for non-Japanese clients. We offer a unique opportunity, for those who share our vision, to help grow a small international start-up into a major force, by bringing our unique and superb technology and high levels of customer service to the market both here in Japan, and throughout the APC region and beyond.


  • Drive sales activity for foreign capital companies in Japan, both CRM/ATS and other projects
  • Business development through introduction, networking and cold calls etc
    Participate in and help create sales strategy, process, and materials
  • Manage existing customer accounts
  • Provide overall customer support including training and on-boarding
  • Assist with IT projects for system implementations, including data migration, and web development
  • Assist IT development team on overall product development and IT Resource allocation
  • Assist in overall office tasks


  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Recruitment experience preferable
  • Strong entrepreneurial and self-management skills
  • Experience presenting to clients/customers and ability to provide solutions to problems
  • Overall understanding of IT software
  • Business development experience (lead generation to securing new business)
  • Knowledge of Japanese HR/recruitment market
  • Self-starter, ability to drive your own business
